The concept behind ProstoConcept was born during a chance meeting at a local park between two mothers. One mother possessed a vision to hand-create memorable items for children, while the other brought a deep passion for needlework.

Recognizing a shared love for clean, calming aesthetic spaces, they spent eight months iterating on designs before officially launching their first line of nursery pillows on Etsy. The word “Prosto” translates to “simple” in several Slavic languages, reflecting the founders’ core ethos: children’s spaces should be beautifully uncomplicated, calming, and free of chaotic visual clutter.

Unlike mass-produced plastic children’s toys, ProstoConcept treats cushions as highly functional, safe, and sensory-friendly bedroom artwork.
